Wow so i am slacking big time on this blogging thing.. Sorry it has been hectic around the Mitchell Household.. Things are going ok. But you know they say the first year of marriage is the hardest well I believe it and we are living it.. I love my husband so much and things have been thrown at us alot lately and still being thrown but we are getting through them all and we got through the ones before we can get through anything.. It is so hard to believe that within a month we will be married for one year. Oh how the year has passed by so quickly.. The kids are doing great and enjoying the summer. Jason is still out with his knee and now we are dealing with things on that end. Hopefully we will get good results in the end.. I am doing good working and now have started a new thing and hoping that will take off soon too. Between all the other things that are going on in our life Jason's photography business is taking off. He is doing great and I hope it continues.. Wow I am way behind on my blogs..So much has happened and so much is going on. Now where to start. Life is a roller coaster right now but I think we are on the good side of this rollar coaster. For those of you that dont know Jason had ACL repair surgery on his left knee two years ago and now it is acting up and he has been out of work for a month now. The Dr. he is seeing now (is not the original dr that did the surgery) has said it has to do with the original surgery and surgeon that did the surgery. He evidently didn't do the right surgery. But anyways we are dealing with that and now trying to deal with Workers Comp and trying to juggle two kids on one salary. We are getting to where we need to be but boy has it been a roller coaster and is still having its moments. Hoping that we have some answers soon. Other than that things are going great. Its so hard to believe that we are coming up on our one year anniversary. In two months we will be married for one year. It is so hard to believe how fast time flies. Life has been ok and I believe it when they say the first year of marriage is the hardest. It is and life throws challenges your way that you will never think will happen.

The kids are doing great. Ashton just finished school and will be going into the 2nd grade. She made straight A's this year. We are very proud of her. She has exceeded so much and has made a big improvement with her school work. We are still working on some things but that is to be expected.

Jake is growing up so quick and can not believe I just signed him up for pre-K. He starts that in August but he will only go until 2:30 but it is so hard to believe that in a year he will be in kindergarten. Time flies by so fast and these kids are growing up way too fast.

Jason and a great dear friend of his have start a photography business. They are great at what they do. Hoping to make a travel up north this summer to visit family and visit mom and dad since they are up in Ohio now. It is kindof weird them not being here. Im use to going to their house at lunch and being able to pick up the phone and seeing what they are up too and just stopping by but its starting to get a little better. The kids especially Jake havent grasped that nana and papaw arent here anymore and they are in Ohio but they are starting to get it. They are ready to go see them and wanting to stay with them for a lil while. Well that is all for now. Sorry for a long one. Im going to try to be better and keep this updated. Got pics to upload but that might be another day.

Wow It has been hectic around the Mitchell house hold and so much has happened. Where do i start first.lol

Everything is going great. Jason and I have been married for 7months this last monday. Its so hard to believe that its been almost a year since our wedding. Jason is still going through EMT school but this is the last week for it and then maybe we can get back to the normal routine. Bless his heart he is so smart and doing so well but at the same time it is so stressful. We have started getting our photography business together and that is up and running. I am doing great. Working,being a mom and wife. I am planning on going back to school either this fall or the first of the next year. These kiddos and wonderful husband just influence me to want to better my education and do more for them so that is the direction i am headed.

Ashton is doing great and her grades are improving. We are so proud of her. it is hard to believe that it has been a year since we have gone through everything with her. She is a great girl, happy and eager to learn. She just turned 8 last thursday and you would have thought it would have been christmas, bless her heart she really hasnt had her bday celebrated. but this one was special and im sure she looks forward to many many more.

Jake is doing great as well. It is so hard to believe that my baby boy will be going to school next year. He is growing too fast but he is pretty smart and catches ontothings pretty quick. He is becoming a mini me (jason) more and more. he has todo everything his daddy does and has to dress the same way. He told Jason the other night that he was going to get a tattoo like him when he gets older...lol he cracks me up.

Ok i promise to do better this year with the posting :) Things have been a lil hectic around the Mitchell house. Everyone is doing great. I have finally posted some christmas pictures hope everyone enjoys.

Its hard to believe that Jake turned 4 this christmas. He has started going to school again and absoulutely loves it. He is so ready to go to the big boy school. He is doing very well and just growing up way too fast. He comes up with stuff you would never think a 4 year old would say or even think of or remember. He has a memory that is well quite scary sometimes..lol He is doing great and right one track.

Ashton is doing well. She is growing as well expected and learning more and more everyday. She had a great christmas and blessed that we could give her a christmas she will never forget. As we go on day by day and month by month we learn more and more. She will be 8 in March and hope to give her the birthday shes never had before.

Jason and I are doing extremely well. Jason is still going through the EMT class and will be done in March (YAY) if not before if he takes his test and passes it. Its hard to believe that we have been married 5 months already. Oh how time is flying. We cant wait to see what the future holds for us. Well thats it for this post promise to post sooner next time. Christmas and New Years

I know its been along time since we have posted and for that I am sorry. It has been busy around the Mitchell house.

Christmas was great. The kids got lots of stuff and we got the stuff we needed as well. I finally got my Ohio State flag! Ah ha So guess what is flying today on the day that the Buckeyes are playing in the Rose Bowl.. Go Buckeyes. I will have pictures to post of christmas day soon.

New years was great as well.. So many things have happened in 2009. I married my best friend, Jason was reunited with his daughter Ashton and she became a part of our family and my daughter. So many things have gone on in our life in 2009 and cant wait to see what 2010 holds for us. I am so glad that I have a wonderful husband and great kiddos and its going to get better from here.

This was the first year that we started our own family traditions for the holidays and it was Great.

That is it for now. Got lots of cleaning and pictures to upload. Will be posting them soon. To the family that is far away and couldnt be here with us on this special holiday season with us we love you, miss you and Thank you oh so much for our goodies and the kids. They love their gifts.

Wow so I know its been a long time since I last posted and posted pics. There has been so much going on. Where do I start.

Jason and I have been married almost three months and I wouldnt change a thing. I am truly blessed to have a great man in my life. He truly is my soul mate and best friend. Married life is everything I wanted and more. I am truly blessed to be so loved and cared about. Life is good. I do have more weddng pictures to post and honeymoon pics as well. I know Im slacking sorry.

Everything else is going great The kids are growing like weeds. Hard to believe that in almost a month my lil man is going to be 4 oh how time flies. He may be almost 4 but sometimes I think he is 20. He comes up with some things you just want to bust out laughing and there is some things you just look at him and say you are 3. He truly is too smart. He is big into wearing what his daddy wears and if i dont dress him right he asks his daddy if what he has on is right and asks daddy if mommy dressed me right :) the kid cracks me up. Ashton is doing great. She is doing good in school but is still having trouble in some things. They both are excited about Christmas. They are itching for me to put the tree up and of course my sweet husband told me to wait until after Thanksgiving at least oh well its just a couple more weeks.

Jason is doing well as well he is still in the EMT class hopefully it will be done soon and still working at the fire department.

Wow where has the time gone. Jason and I have been married for amonth now. I cant believe it. It seems like we waited for our big day for so long and now it has been here and gone and now i am spending the rest of my life with my beast friend and soul mate. I cant wait to see what our future holds and spending the rest of my life with my wonderful husband. I am going to have pictures to post soon. So sorry that it is taking a while to post more wedding and honeymoon pictures. Its been a busy month and now is finally starting to slow down and we are able to start getting back to reality. WOW is all i can say now.. I know its been awhile since ive posted last had alot going on..Jason and I got married 8/22/09 and it was the best day ever. Our wedding was everything I always dreamed of.The weather was perfect and everything fell in place and went the way it was suppose too..Most of all we had family there and friends to help us celebrate our special day..I was especially ectastic to have family there that had traveled along way to be there for that special event..Most of all I saw my uncle that I havent seen in 15 years or so...All in all the day was great. Jason and I took a honeymoon to Gatlinburg and enjoyed it very much. The weather was perfect and there wasnt alot of people there. The hotel we stayed in had us staying on Honeymoon Island. All in all we had a great time and had a great wedding. Now we are starting our lives as husband and wife or Mr and Mrs Mitchell and couldnt be happier and more eager to see what the future holds for us and our family. This past Friday we went everywhere to get my name changed on things and I had no idea what all you had to go through to get your name change its insane but it is oh so worth it...So now I am officially Mrs. Jessica Lynne Mitchell and I couldnt be happier. Jason is a great man and husband and love him dearly. God was listeining to me when I was praying in the past and he couldnt have sent a better man..I love you Jason A Mitchell..Jake and Ashton are doing great.. Jason and I are going to start the adoption papers on Jake so he can become a Mitchell. Not only to become a Mitchell but Jason wants to adopt him. That touches me more than anything..For those who know what I have been through in the past know how much that means to me to have a loving man and husband who wants to be a part of not only my life but my sons and wants to be my sons father...Well that is all for this post I promise there will be more posts and lots of pictures as i get them. I wont overwhelm ya'll with pictures on this post since our photographer took almost 2,000 pictures at the wedding...lol

OK its here Woo Hoo.. I am going to Mrs. Jason Mitchell this Saturday. Hard to believe that the day is only 3 days away.. I cant wait ive got so many emotions and feelings going on right now. I cant wait to see my family and spend time with them as well. Jason and I are ready for our special day and we couldnt have done it without the love and support of our family.. We love you all and cant wait to spend our special day with everyone... Woo Hoo Im getting married in 3 days...

Wow ok we are in the single digit countdown. A week from this saturday we will be Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell. It is so hard to believe that the big day is right around the corner. I cant wait for the day to be here. Most of all cant wait for my family to be here to enjoy this special day with me. Love and miss ya'll. We went to Mens Warehouse Sat and got Jake's Tux. He was so cute he said he wanted to wear it home and wanted to sleep in it too. He has asked everynite to wear it. It is cracking me up. I got his shoes today and he said he needed to put his suit on to make sure the shoes went with it. He is such a mess. Well that is all for this post. I will try and post again before the big day...

19 DAYS!!!!

Ok we officially have 19 days till our big day. Sorry im a little behind on posting we have had a busy couple of weeks.. Everything is working out and ready for our big day. The weekend before last Jason's sister-in-law, mom, sister and aunt threw us a shower it was good. We got our vacuum cleaner and coffee pot and silverware and most of all more towels :) We love our families. We are truely blessed with the loving people around us. The guys I think are done getting their tuxes except for a few of them. but they know who they are and im on them to get their tuxes :) This past Friday I had another wedding shower at work. It was good. All the girls at work pitched in and got us a money tree. We appreciate that it will help tremendously right now. Well im sure i will have more posts to write about as the special day is getting closer and closer. We have days and weeks full of meetings and other things to get done for our big day..I will try to post more often as the day gets closer.

Jake is growing up so fast. He is officially fully potty trained (YEA). He thinks he is so big and that he can go to big boy school. He on one hand is not old enough to start big school but Jason and I are looking into putting him in a pre-K class or school. He is too smart for being 3 1/2. Jake is very proud of himself though, he has been moved to the next class in sunday school because he has mastered the potty :) That is all he talks about. It wont be too much longer and my little man will be in Kindergarten. Im not looking forward to that. It feels like I just brought him home it doesnt feel like he is going to be 4 in 4 months..Oh where has the time gone..

Ashton is doing well too. She goes back to school this Friday and starts first grade. Hopefully this year will be better for her. She is ready. We will see how she does. I have faith in her she has been doing work books for the last month refreshing what she learned last year and what she will be learning this year. I hope it helps..

Jason is doing ok as well. He took his EMT test last weekend but didnt pass it. So he has to take it again. It is a hard test and no one in the department is having any luck. I hope when he takes it again he will pass. He was close this time and mastered the hard part. I have faith that he will pass it this next time.

First I want to apologize I am having a hard time uploading our pictures from the bridge downtown and coolidge park.. Im going to have the computer wizard name Jason look at it and see what im doing wrong.LOL

OK the days are ticking by and the big day is right around the corner literally...I cant wait Im getting excited and nervous and stressed out...I have the big stuff its just getting the little stuff together and hoping that my family is going to be able to make it to my special day...I know the guys in the bridal party are starting not to like it when I call them and start harrassing them. They have to get their tuxes and they think they can take their old sweet time...NOT.. its ok just got a couple of them to stay on..Other than that things are coming along and I cant wait for our special day...

OH my goodness we have 34 days where have the days gone...lol im not complaining at all dont get me wrong. Almost got the last minute stuff done. The guys are doing a good job by getting fitted and getting their tuxes. Im sure it helps that ive been keeping on them.. :) i get to pick my dress up Wednesday and cant wait. The girls are getting alterations done.. Things are coming together very nicely so far. I hope that everyone can come celebrate this day with us. Im trying to load pictures but they dont seem to want to load so im going to try again after this post. I havent forgotten to post pictures they are just being difficult and no coperate. LOL..

Everyting else is going great. Jason goes to take his EMT test on Sat and I have another bridal shower so next weekend is going to be busy for us. Oh wait the next couple of weeks and weekends are..HA HA.. Jake and Ashton are doing great. Jason went to court this past tuesday and we now have sole custody of Ashton and she is officially a Mitchell. Jake is doing great with going potty, he is such a big boy. He also will be a Mitchell before too long. Jason is going to adopt him so we are starting to get that going. LOL.. Everything is coming together great i couldnt have asked god for a greater man to put in our lives. Jason is great and God was truly listeing to me when he sent him my way. I am truthfully grateful for a wonderful man, husband and father..

Cant believe that we are down to 40 days and our big day is here. Oh my where have the days gone. I cant wait im getting so excited and nervous.

We do have great news thought my little man Jake is potty trained. YEAH!!!!!! we are still working on the potty thing at night but he is so big and he praises himself everytime he goes and he does a great job when we are out in public he doesnt hesitate to tell Jason or I that he has to go the bathroom. I am so proud of him he is getting big so fast. Now lets just hope he gets through the wedding without an accident.. :)

Oh my how time is flying by. Cant believe that we have 47 days left till our big day..I am super excited and cant wait for the day to get here..We handed out the last of the invitations this weekend to the fire dept so its so real. Now its getting the rsvps back. I have a bridal shower at the end of this month that Jason's side of the family is giving us and cant wait for that. Well thats all for now. Ok wow got alot to post and i promise to everyone i will post more often..Sorry we have been very busy here lately..Can you believe that we have 2 months left my goodness time is flying by so fast. I cant believe it.. My dress is almost ready for the big show...Ha ha i mean presentation. I cant wait i pick it up July 22 from alterations and get the final fitting to make sure all is good and its ready for the big day. My bridemaids dresses came in today and my maid of honor has her alterations tomorrow. It is getting so real all the plans are winding down and being set. Wow i cant say it too much it is right around the corner. We went a couple of weeks ago and had our first set of engagement pics taken at sunset rock on lookout mountain that is where our main pic on our blog was taken. This past weekend we had pics taken downtown around the carousel, coolidge park, the river and the walking bridge. We have another set to have pics taken. The guy that is taking our pics is a friend of ours that works with Jason and he is good at what he does. He is actually teaching Jason some tricks about the pics. Hopefully i will have some of the last pics from downtown to post soon. I will post our first session after this post i promise. As for my bridal shower that i had a couple of weeks ago. My best friend who actually happens to be my maid of honor as well got together this shower and she did a great job. We didnt have a really good turn out but oh well its the thought that counted. My great aunt did an awesome thing she got us a digital camera and loaded old pics of me and pics of the family and sent it to me.. I love you aunt carole you are the best and i love our present.. I cant wait until yall come down for my big day..Love you and miss you very much..so as we are going into July now and the clock is ticking big time i have a fun filled month. I have a bridal shower at the end of the month not to mention more pics to be taken and even thinking about getting bridal portaits taken..just hadnt made up my mind about that yet..Jason has his bachelor party at the end of July and i have my bacherlorette party at the first of august...I think not sure yet but that is still in the works..I have started the countdown on our calender and starting to mark off the days as the day nears closer and closer..

Jake is doing very well. I think we have conquered the potty thing. The last couple of days he has been wearing underwear during the day and when he naps and goes to bed he wears a pull up. In the morning and after nap his pullup is ot that wet which means alot if you know Jake because the boy can wet at night..:)...when we go out and run errands we put a pullup on him and he still goes to the bathroom whereever we are at..I think he has the Shultz in him alright. He has to check out every bathroom i mean evert bathroom :) lets hope we have conquered the potty thing. We wants to go to big boy school and ever since we told him he had to wear big boy pants to be able to go to school he has been going to the bathroom (#1 and #2). he is doing great. He is growing up so fast....

Ashton is doing well as well. She became a Mitchell a couple of weeks ago andthat was a relief for us all...Now she is getting excited because she gets to get all dressed up for the wedding.

Jason is doing great. He is working his butt off as usual. He is going to take his EMT test again soon. They say that test is hard so he is studying extra hard this time...

Bridal Shower

Ok officially we have 71 days until the big day. We had engagement pics taken last weekend and we have some more in a couple weekends. I will have them to post soon.. Saturday I have my first bridal shower and I am so excited. I wish my family was around so they could enjoy the fun as well and all the planning but they are 8 hours away and some even more. But thats ok i guess as long as they get to make it to my big day thats all I care about. Well that is all for this post will for sure have more very soon along with pics..

Can u believe it...I cant wow.. 3 months left..I am so excited and starting to get nervous..It is going to be here before I know it.. Things are about done I think..Mom is sending invitations out the end of this month or first of June..Ive got my dress and go for alterations in June and Ive got the shoes as well.. Now i just got to get the groomsmen and bridesmaids in and get there stuff and we will be on our way...I did have a panic/anxiety attack due to stress last week.. The dr. said it was normal with everything i am under but i am fine now he gave me stuff to calm me down and when i feel another one coming on..But anyways

Jake is great he is growing up so fast. Him and Jason are inseperatable. He is all about his Daddy. If Jason is at work Jake is lost he wants to call or go see Jason. He had a seperation breakdown the other day. Jason had worked a 48 hour shift and we were going out to eat and Jason went and got the keys and Jake started crying and telling Jason no daddy dont leave and we had to explain that daddy wasnt leaving we all were leaving to go out to eat. Bless his heart. He is growing up. He says some of the funniest stuff and sometimes i have to just not laugh until he leaves the room but he is hilarious. He came out of his room the other day with his play fire hat on saying he was a fireman and he was going to be a fireman like his daddy. I thought that was sos cute.

Ashton is doing great as well. She graduated from kindergarten today so now she is headed to first grade. She is a whole different kid compared to a month ago. Her and Jake get along so well..

Jason is good just working and helping out around the house when needed.

Well thats all for now. We will have pics to post soon. We are getting engagement pics finally done the first sat in June thats just one date A guy Jason works with is going to do them on different days at different spots..Im so excited I cant wait to get them and see them. Till THen

4 MONTHS!!!!!!

Wow where are the months going not that im complaining at all :) we have had a pretty tough last month. Not only are we trying to plan a wedding, honeymoon, work and take care of what needs to be taken care of but a month ago Jason found out that he was going to be getting his 7 year old daughter that he had no idea about and had never met. Jason's daughter Ashton has become a part of our family and we are very happy that she is with us now. She has had it tough and deserves to be in a family that cares and loves her. The mom will not be around b/c she was picked up for drugs and lost her kids. Jason and I have had a tough month. We have had tests done, people in and out of our house and making sure that the house is ready for a 7 year old girl. Jake is doing really well with it. Ashton calls him bubba and he calls her sissy from time to time. When we go to court the next time Jason is going to get Ashton's last name changed and as he is doing his we are going to get Jake's changed as well. Yes you guessed it Jason is going to adopt Jake.. I am thrilled Jason is the greatest and Jake has a great Daddy in his life...I will keep everyone informed about what is happening. We have a tough couple of months ahead of us plus we are trying to get her clothes, toys, etc. She had nothing so its like bringing an infant home for the first time. She is a great kid though it just breaks my heart because she doesnt know about alot of things because they didnt have a lot and she is struggling in school. She is 7 and in kindergarten still. We hope this summer we can work with her and help her where she is lacking the skills she needs to go to first grade and it didnt help either that she got moved around alot.. Well enough about that for now will update as things go on.

Well we are to the 4 month count down. I am getting so excited. I got my dress Tuesday and took it to moms house. It feels so true now that I have my dress. It is absolutely gorgeous and cant wait to wear it.. I have alterations in June because I am in the process of loosing weight so far I have lost a little but not where I want to be. I am going to a gym with Jason and the days I dont go to the gym i walk with my friend Sherri. So I am in the process it is just taking forever.. I wish I could lose weight like guys do..LOL.. Everything else is coming together. Mom is working on invitations so we can get them out in the mail soon..Jason and I are planning on doing engagement pics next month sometime so we will have some new pics to post. I know we were suppose to do it this month but we have had so much going on that we lost track of days...lol...I cant believe that my wedding is just around the corner. I cant wait for the day....

Jake is doing great. We are still in the process of potty training...it feels like its a never ending battle. We got the poo pooping in the potty its just the peeing that we havent conquered yet..He is growing up so fast. I dont know where the last 3 years have gone but they have flown it feels like. He is getting so smart. He likes to sing in the car now so we have to watch what is on the radio..lol... It is so cute to listein to him he will start singing and then he will make up his own song.. Its really cute to listein to him sing Taylor Swift, Love song,,,,I will have to record him next time he sings it, it is soooooo cute... Mom and Dad came to the house last weekend and Jake was so excited. He saw them pull in and I couldnt get the door open fast enough. He is a papaw (my dad) boy when he sees him. Thats all i heard about when they left. He loves is nana too dont get me wrong but him and his papaw have a special bond and it is so cute.. He knows he is going to get to see his uncle soon (hopefully) and he asks everyday if uncle chris is at nana's..He is all about his uncle. It seems that uncle chris is like that with little kids, they always look up to him..i have no idea why but they do...lol just look at my cousin Sean...lol...

Jason is doing well as well he is just working and doing the normal. We both are trying to get through this rough time and we have discovered that we have become stronger through all of this and as long as we have each other we can get through anything.....

WOW is all I can say. It seems to be the months are fluing by now a days.. It is hard to believe that there is 5 months left until the big day... I am getting excited but more nervous than anything.. So far everything is picked out and ready for the big day. Just got to get the girls and guys in to get fitted and dresses and tux's bought..

Next month a friend of ours is going to take our pics at the Spring in Chickamauga so I will have some pics to post as soon as those are done. I havent really worked on wedding stuff this month. I have taken a break pretty much but come April it is back to doing the little stuff and getting things organized....

Jake is doing well he is loving the nice weather and having a little bit of seperation anxiety with Jason now. He doesnt want to leave Jason's side and wants to go see him everytime he is working.. Bless his heart... i think we have figured the potty training out finally...YEAH.... Jake has gone #2 in the potty for a week now and they say that is the hardest one for kids to get a hang of well now he have to get the peeing down and we are set... My baby is growing up soooo fast....He is a chatter box too he will pop off with conversations and sentences and you wonder where in the world he is getting that from....He is all about his papaws and uncle chris and of course Jason. He talks about his Papaw shultz all the time and how he brought him a fire truck and he wants to see papaw on the tractor.. Dont know why he is associated Papaw Shultz with a tractor.. His soon to be papaw Mitchell (jason's dad) he likes to play on the computer with.. His papaw he loves his truck and everytime he sees a truck like his he thinks it is him and has a fit.. This past weekend he got to have a papaw and Jake day and absolutely loved it. That is all he talked about. They went to the zoo, build a bear and went to Sir Goonies and played golf.. All he talked about was loosing his balls in the water... As far as his uncle Chris everytime he sees an army commercial or trucks in the store he says thats my uncle chris and uncle chris buy that for me for my birthday... And you probably could guess what the lil guy associates with Jason. Firetrucks... It is cute. Jason is trying to teach Jake the difference between work trucks and ambulances and it is so cute to hear Jake say ambulance but he pays attention to Jason and remembers whats what...

Jason is doing good just working and now starting to do spring stuff around the house. We are getting ready to do some landscaping in our front yard by our front porch and he is excited and ready to get started. Jasons bday was last thurs so all last week he got a gift a day and then Fri when he got home from work his last and big gift was on the back porch (he got the grill he had been wanting) and was super excited.

6 Months

well now we are down to 6 months. Oh how time is flying. I am starting to get excited and nervous at the same time. Jason and I went yesterday and picked the food, napkins and cake out and I picked the flowers out for all of the bouquets and the groomsmens stuff. I feel better now that that all of that is done. Now we can sit back for a lil while and not worry about getting things done in the next 6 months. I feel like I have accompolished so much in the last couple of months. Now got to get the bridal party done with fittings and dresses and we are on our way.

Ok other than wedding planning things are going great around the future Mitchell household. Jake is doing good. Sassy as ever but I guess that is a typical three year old. I believe it when people told me that three's are worse than two's. boy are they ever. Jason and jake are like two peas in a pod they love to gang up on me. Of course Jason eggs it on and Jake just follows what Jason does. But oh well Im getting use to it. Jason is doing good as well this week is the last week for his refresher class for EMT and then he goes and takes the test. Keep your fingers crossed that he passes it. I think he will he knows his stuff and is pretty smart. As for me things are the same. Just working and taking care of my two boys and planning a wedding. I finally have some new pics to post. Yeah and hopefully in the next update or the one after that we will have some engagement pictures to post. will keep ya'll updated as it gets closer and closer. Wow how time is flying by these days. Its hard to believe January is already over and now we are in the middle of Febuary and celebrating Valentine's Day. Im starting to get excited about our wedding. So far everything is going great. We have the placed picked, the dress bought, the bridesmaid dresses picked and tux's picked out. Now its down to the little stuff. We are going at the end of the month to pick flowers out and pick the food out and so forth. We are ahead of the ball game so far just hope we stay that way. As of today we have 191 days until the big day. YEAH!!!! It will be here before we know it and cant wait. Other than the wedding preperation everything is going great. Jake is a typical 3 year old who thinks he is 8. but im sure everyone can relate to that. He is doing great otherwise. He have attempted the potty training again. Yea not going so well right now. I believe it now that boys are hard headed and they will do it when they want to.. He is Jason's shadow he follows Jason around and wants to know what hes doing 24 7. He also knows when Jason goes to work because he wants to go see the firetrucks and when Jason isnt home the next day (jason works 24 hour shifts and then off 48) he gets upset becasue he knows he should be home. Jason is doing good. He is going through EMT classes and eventually will go to get his EMT. The fire department and EMT service in Walker County joined together and now the firefighters have to have EMT. Im doing well also. I am just working and planning the wedding. I am starting to get things together so I can go back to school and finish get my coding certificate and then after that thinking about going for something else. not sure what yet. 7 months and counting

Sorry I know it has been a while since I wrote the last blog. It has been super busy around our house. With Jason back at work, me working, keeping up with a 3 year old and getting a wedding planned there just enough time in the day to sit down and write a blog. So tonite I have some time and just thought I would update some of you.

So there is officially 7months till the wedding now. Hard to believe how fast January is going by. We have picked the place, my dress is bought hopefully it will come back on time, the tux's are picked out and Jason got a measured for his tux now I just have to get the rest of the guys in there to get theres done. I think we have accompolished alot overall in the first month. Mom and I are attending the bridal show here in Chattanooga tomorrow so hopefully we will have some more good ideas and stuff when we come out of there. Ill update you and let you know about that.

Jake is doing great. He is a typical 3 year old and oh how he is funny. He says the funniest stuff and you have to stop and say where did that come from. He also has to do thigs that eveyone else is doing. He especially has to be doin what Jason does. He thinks just because he does it Jake thinks he needs to do it as well. He cracks me up.

Ok. So its a New Year and a new beginning. The last couple of weeks have been hectic for us. With Jason going back to work after being out with his knee surgery, christmas and now starting to plan a wedding I havent had much down time. We have set the date for out wedding. It will be August 22, 2009. Yeah, I cant wait its seems so long away but I know it will be here before we know it. We arent sure where we are going to have it yet we have starting setting up appointments to go look at places so maybe we will have one picked out before too long.

Jake is great and sassy. I guess its a typical 3 year old. He is growing up too fast and hard to believe that he is already 3 feels like yesterday I brought him home. We have started to tackle the potty training again. Hopefully this time it will click. Jason has been a tremendous help with it and Jake seems to understand it a little better. So keep your fingers crossed and hopefully he will be potty trained soon.

Please keep the Little family in your prayers. Jarrett Little passed away this morning from injuries sustained in a MVA, He was a fireman for the Walker County Fire Dept and a volunteer fireman for Fort Oglethorpe fire department. He will be missed by all. Jason is handling it well (for those of you who didnt know Jason is a firefighter for Walker County).

Ok so I thought I would give this blogging a go ahead. Forgive me ahead of time if I mess up right off the bat. It will take me some time to get use to doing this. Jason and I decided to do this so we could help friends and family see whats going on with us.

As some of you already know Jason and I got engaged on Christmas Day. He was so sweet and cute the way he did it. I would never have thought thats what was going to happen when I had finished opening the gifts inside other gifts. Jason I love you and you are a sweetheart. We have not set the date yet but we are looking at late August early Sept. As soon as we do set it we will post it and let everyone know.

Jake is doing great growing and getting sassier everyday. Hard to believe that my baby just turned 3. Seems like yesterday I brought him home.
